Statutory Structure
The Arizona Revised Statutes are divided into numerous titles that contain a broad topic of law. This website will touch on statutes from these five titles:
- Title 12 - Courts and Civil Proceedings
- Title 28 - Transportation
- Title 32 - Professions and Occupations
- Title 36 - Public Health and Safety
- Title 40 - Public Utilities and Carriers
A fair portion of this site will discuss Title 12, because civil proceedings will be important for basically any lawsuit arising from an accident where negligence existed. It may also be useful to read through portions of Title 4, which concerns the regulation of alcohol. There are many accidents and resulting injuries, especially on Arizona roads, from alcohol consumption.
